September 2025 - Burundi

The Incuti coffee from Kayanza Province, Burundi, is grown by 400 producers at 1900 MASL in volcanic loam soil, featuring local Bourbon cultivars. Fully washed and sun-dried, it’s roasted medium-light to highlight a clean, sweet cup with notes of dried fig, bright lemon, and smooth caramel. Developed through JNP Coffee’s “Dushime” program, led by Jeanine Niyonzima-Aroian—one of Burundi’s most influential coffee leaders—the initiative supports farmer groups with quality consulting, market access, and end-of-year premiums while empowering women through the IWCA network. The Incuti lot embodies both exceptional terroir and meaningful impact, delivering a juicy, lime-like expression of high-elevation Burundi coffee.
